Mariner Street in Swansea is a new student accommodation block being built on a former brown field site. The development is set to have 780 bedrooms split between studios and cluster flats. On the ground floor there will be retail and leisure spaces for the public and designated student social spaces on the first floor. The site is expected to open for the 2021 academic season and will be a local landmark for those arriving by train to the city.
