The University of Glasgow is looking for a programme delivery partner to manage its ambitious estate redevelopment plan.

The 10-year project is priced at between £250m and £500m.

The University will appoint a single delivery partner for its largest estates project since the 1870s, and said it “will consider applications from consortia, joint ventures, strategic alliances and other contractual arrangements who will deliver as a single entity”.

Four or five bidders will be invited to tender following a prequalification process.

The deadline for requests to participate is 27 November.

The University said: “The estates strategy will support the University’s Strategic Plan and ambition by developing a campus that supports the University today and in the future and is innovative and courageous in design, reflecting the University’s history and ambition.

“The University is keen to explore collaborations with a range of partners to support and reflect this ethos and vision in the delivery route selected for the delivery of the Estates Strategy. We are seeking to engage in genuine partnership working arrangements, founded upon a platform of trust and respect.”
